After 13 years with the festival and 9 years as Chairman, I have reached the difficult decision to resign as Chairman, festival band coordinator and one of the festival organisers.

Being retired for the past two years, I would now like the time to slowly continuously cruise the canal systems of England, living on our narrowboat, Lowen.

I believe it is time for new blood with new ideas to move the festival forward and hope you will forgive my past excursions of booking bands that really tested the Bluegrasser's among you!!!

I would like to say thank you to all who have supported the festival, helping make it into the calendar event it has become and also a big thank you to all the musicians and bands who have performed over the years.

Please remember, 13 years ago the Cornish Bluegrass Association was formed to promote Bluegrass music by way of the Cornish Bluegrass Festival. Without your support the festival cannot survive, so bring a friend and come back again and again...!!!

Your smiling faces at the end of a festival weekend, is the committee's reward for all the hard work done leading up to the festival - I will miss your smiling faces, but not the hard work...!!!

I am leaving that to Nigel and Carolyn and their new committee members to continue. I wish them all the best in taking the festival forward into 2017 and beyond with your support.

Cheers and thanks to all,

Moss Drew.
